Committees

Several scientific advisory committees providing guidance to the MBI:

• Board of Trustees (BOT): The Board reviews the institute management and programs and advises and approves the strategic priorities of the institute.
• Diversity Committee: The MBI diversity mission is to help shape the mathematical biology community in a way that represents the diversity of our society.
• Local Scientific Advisory Committee (LSAC): Helps identify current topics and focus group workshops, gives advice on how to implement emphasis programs and on potential mentors for postdoctoral fellows.
• Scientific Advisory Committee (SAC): SAC reviews MBI programs and suggests and decides on annual programs and organizers.
